Paradise Beach

Paradise Beach
The biggest and the most famous beach of Lopar is Paradise Beach, often listed in Top 10 Adriatic beaches or Top 100 Mediterranean beaches. Over a mile of golden sand spread around the bay at the SE of Lopar peninsula, stretching along the San Marino Resort and camping and at walking distance for most of the guests in private accommodation.

This is usually the first stop for all visitors of Lopar. You will find here everything you expect to see in a beach – rows of deck-chairs and beach umbrellas, gazebos for more privacy and luxury, beach bars and cocktail bars, plenty of restaurants, pizza and grill joints as well as fast-food, pancake and ice-cream shops. Who can resist a slice of pizza, pancake or ice-cream any time of the day?!

Beach is perfect for the lazy relax, but if you crave for action, there are plenty of sports and entertainment available. Look for the beach volleyball courts or book a slot at tennis courts. If you prefer water sports, rent a beach-canoe, kayak or a SUP board. For speed and adrenaline junkies there are speed rides with speed boat, jet ski rental and parachute ride. The ultimate fun can be found at the bottom of Paradise beach, on Aquagan waterslides. Whether you are 5 or 55, you will love sliding down the waterslides and you will go for more than just one ride!

Paradise Beach never sleeps. OK, it does, but late at night. However, in the evening it is the central point of Lopar – the sound of music is in the air, rock and evergreen coming from the terraces or sound of samba coming from the beach – the rhythm is everywhere, so there is no point in trying to resist. Just go along and dance!

Since 2003. The Paradise Beach is decorated with a “Blue Flag” – the international mark of beach quality and preserved environment, as well as the safety of swimmers.

For physically challenged and for disabled, there are several ramps along the Paradise Beach, for their easier access into the sea.

To keep everyone happy in our little sand paradise, some things are allowed and some things are not.

In Paradise Beach nudism is not allowed, nor is the swimming for dogs allowed.

You will find nearby a swimming corner for dogs at the very bottom of Paradise Beach, where you can take your dog for a dip. It’s the South end of Paradise Beach, called Podrapost, next to Aquagan. Other dog-friendly beaches are Kaštelina (after bay Livačina) and beach Zad Vele Stene (next to beach Ciganka).

Naturism is allowed on beaches Sahara and Ciganka and beach Stolac is FKK exclusive.
