Lopar MTB 1

The start of this 26 km MTB route is in Lopar, followed by a short ride through orchards and fields, after which there is an ascent to the Fruga plateau. On Fruga, you’ll experience a ride along forest paths, vast fields, encounters with sheep, and the particularly interesting canyons formed by wind and erosion. The descent from the plateau and return towards Lopar is along the famous Premužić Trail, offering a spectacular view of the Velebit Channel, which is one of the main attractions of this route. Then, there’s a ride to the most famous beach on Rab, Paradise Beach, followed by a more demanding climb, both physically and technically, but the view of the neighboring islands from the viewpoint will reward all the effort. The return to Lopar takes you through the sandy areas of the island, a bit of forest, and without significant challenges.
